1957 De Havilland Thruxton Jackaroo Series 1 Prototype (Modified DH82A)An exceptionally rare opportunity to acquire the Series 1 prototype Thruxton Jackaroo one of only five airworthy examples worldwide.Originally converted at Thruxton Aerodrome in 1956 from a DH82A Tiger Moth airframe, G-AOEX was completed as the standard four-seat cabin version and first flown on 2 March 1957 by Lt-Cdr Pat Shea-Simonds.This aircraft holds unique family provenance. Arthur Christian learned to fly in this very aircraft and purchased it in 1985.
