Many surplus aircraft found new life in civilian aviation, and the Tiger Moth remains popular worldwide for both military and civilian use. It continues to be used for recreational flying, tailwheel training, and trial flight experiences. The de Havilland Moth Club, founded in 1975, provides a dedicated support network for owners and enthusiasts.Originally built in 1939 as a primary trainer for the Dutch Air Force, this Tiger Moth initially registered as N9192 (A-13) later transitioned to the Dutch civil register as PH-UFB, followed by a series of OO Belgian registrations.
